We've had several long, confusing threads about what form things are on the screen. Reading them, ISTM we lack both common terminology and graphical examples of the various options. It at times sounded like the Saxe's Six Blind Men & the Elephant.

This is made worse by the multiple-platform userbase, the varied knowledge of the audience, and the wildly different windows manager behaviours.

Could we get some sample, labeled graphics, put up somewhere as a basis for what all the existing forms look like? Such might lessen the confusion.

I'm not sure what the confusion was, nor do I know what sort of graphics would help. Feel free to add a section to the Wiki (https://wiki.mozilla.org/Penelope) with whatever graphics you think would be helpful.
