Details

There should be some easy way to delay the processing of request and writing reply. Especially the latter one would be useful for bug 444546. Some sort of sleep() for .sjs.
Oops, I misunderstood what you needed there and thought you already knew about this limitation. This is a dup of the long-standing bug 396226, to be fixed, well, "eventually", because it's a fair bit of work. :-\
