On Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, the "testfile" test sometimes fails with the message "File Test failed: file data corrupted".

On Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, the "testfile" test sometimes fails with
these messages:
File Test failed: file data corrupted
testfile failed to rmdir /tmp/testfile_dir
File Test failed
Both 32-bit i386 and 64-bit x86_64 builds have this test failure.
I don't remember seeing this test failure on Mac OS X 10.4.
