When the "Download Headers" dialog appear, the throbber and the progress bar
(barber pole) at the bottom left on the status bar continues to animate as if
the page is still loading.
That shoul not be the case.

Gamal, either my connection is too fast or something, but I'm not seeing this
behavior on WinNT 2000112004.

It's really easy to reproduce. The connection speed doesn't matter.
To reproduce:
1) Make sure that the "Ask me before downloading" in the "Server Settings" of
the Mail News pref is set to a lower number that the number of articles in a
newsgroup. Say 10.
2) Select a newsgroup that has more than 10 unread messages.
3) Now the "Download Headers" dialog appear, asking you to download all headers
or just the 10 newest headers.
4) Now look at the throbber. It keeps running while in the dialog.
