We need a new category created under "Additional Categories", called "Firefox 3.1". And we need the "Firefox 3" category renamed to "Firefox 3.0".

I can create an additional category using the admin panel, but that adds it to the wrong section in the article editor. Renaming 'Firefox 3' to 'Firefox 3.0' using the admin panel also has no affect on the article editor.

I'm not 100% sure, but I am under the impression that if you want categories as a "checkbox" rather than a "radio button", i.e. as an additional category, you include the ids in:

tiki-admin.php?locale=en-US&page=category

in the field "Exclude These Category IDs from Path (comma delimited) "

I didn't see "Firefox 3.0" or "Firefox 3.1" under https://support-stage.mozilla.org/tiki-admin.php?locale=en-US&page=category; where else should I be looking, to verify this? Thanks!
Open any KB article article in the editor. The second row of checkboxes about the content area should include a checkbox for "Firefox 3.1", and the "Firefox 3" checkbox should now say "Firefox 3.0".
Verifying based on the amazing comment 4, which is the direct result of the fabulous comment 3, which was a direct response to the legendary comment 2.
