Like bug 35268 [RFE] Edit Source using External Editor

We should be able to edit images in an external image editor.
In 4.x it is in Edit ->Pref -> Composer -> External Editors

CCing Hurricane (rcassin@supernova.org) as he may work on it.

My hope is it could be added as a button to the other image properites options 
in the window that comes up.
Sorry wrong component...... that is what i get for trying to file 2 bugs at the 
same time.
