Details

After loading that testcase on my Mac, there are no pixels of the "c" extending to the left of the green background. But after forcing a full window repaint (e.g. by switching focus to another window), there are three (faint) antialiased pixels on the left edge of the "c" outside the green background. These pixels are also present in the reference. Must be something to do with the invalidation and repaint.
