Almost half way down the page, there are two boxes that say "You'll need to download Macromedia Flash or upgrade your existing version to view this data. The upgrade takes approximately 1 minute with a 56k dial-up modem." I have downloaded, redownloaded, and reredownloaded it, reinstalling each time. It just won't work!!!

Reproducible: Always

Won't display charts

Updated Seamonkey and Java at about same time. Have tried refreshing these also. Other graphics frames and windows are also affected. This is happening on three machines, all similar conditions.
Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v2.0a2 ?
Version: unspecified → SeaMonkey 1.1 Branch
This didn't work, results same as before.

Also, I discovered have a problem with iGoogle, the graphics only show as titles - (XML RSS Feed p.1 Next >>

Standard trouble shooting step to follow:

Create a new seamonkey profile using the seamonkey profile manager. Don't install any extensions or change any settings in this profile. Use this profile to view your charts.

You say this affects three machines. Does this also affect Firefox on the same machines? Do you have firewalls or image/ad blockers running on those machines? Are you going through a network proxy on your router?
I can try other items later tonight, but I can say that actually it's 4 machines, counting that I have dual boot from separate drives on one machine, using Ubuntu.

No separate image or ad blockers I can think of, including Seamonkey settings (. Is there any way I can verify that other than by memory? Also, IE does work ok on these machines. Also, the problem last noticed (2008 Red Bull - Robbie Maddison's New Year's Eve...) above appeared without any additional changes on my part at all. However, this is only noticed so far on the work machine.

There is no proxy on 2 machines (or Ubuntu)machines, but I can't be sure about this one at work.

I'm sure this one has a firewall (unknown name), as do the other Windows setups (Zone Alarm). Utuntu has none, so far.

Can this be duplicated by you, going to Vanguard (https://personal.vanguard.com/us/funds), selecting "Research Funds and Stocks", "Core Funds, view fund approach", "by fund name", "500 index", and about halfway down the page under "Average Annual Performance" - do you see a graph, or the box with "You'll need to download Macromedia Flash, etc...)?

More later...

At this point I get a screen asking me to either login or to open an account.
Ok I can confirm that this happens with both SeaMonkey 2.0b1pre and Minefield 3.2a. Probably the webpage is using broken Flash detection code so moving to Tech Evang.
