User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5 As I open FF I am presented with the 'Firefox - Restore Previous Session' dialog box. I changed my mind. I hit the 'X' button in the upper right corner of the ' dialog box. FF happily started up -as- -if- I had selected 'New Session.' I believe the 'X' button should 'do nothing,' not continue and restore sessions, not continue and open a new session, just close and go away. Thanks much. Have a :) day! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Close FF with several tabs in use. 2. Open FF. 3. Hit the 'X' button in the upper right corner of the dialog box. Actual Results: FF opens a 'new session.' Expected Results: The 'Firefox - Restore Previous Session' dialog box should close, do nothing, and go away. I can't test this under Linux at the moment because that PC is being rebuilt and X doesn't work yet, maybe someone else can try it and other OSes because I d be very curious to hear the results.

If you just save a session on quit there is not prompt on next load. The prompt comes up after a crash. Firefox 3.1 no longer does this and instead shows a session restore page allowing you to selectively restore your tabs. Seeing as this prompt is replaced already I'll close this as WFM. (a minor change like this would not be likely be done for the 3.0.x branch)
