When I'm on one tab (page), and right-click on a link to see the context menu, then I get the option to "Open link in new tab".
In Firefox, if there are any tabs to the right of the current tab, the new tab will be created all the way to the right.
In Chrome, IE7 and Opera it will be opened next to the current tab.
I like it a lot more the way Chrome, IE7 and Opera does this.
I have most of the time a lot of tabs, often more tabs that fit in the browser window... So I have to scroll in the tabs to get to those all the way to the right.
When I'm in a tab (page) and right click a link, or I'm in my yahoo mail and click a link, and the link opens in a new tab, then I want it to open next to my current tab.
That way I will have my tabs more organized, and it will be more intuitive and logical if the "Go to tab after it is opened" is active.
Just my 100 cent.

Just want to add this:
When I click CTRL+T to create a new tab, I would like it to open next to my current tab as well.
If not practical for others, then I belive this should be an option in Tools->Options->Tabs
