For some time now Ctrl-Backspace doesn't do anything in mail editor. It's supposed to deleted word wise as it did before and still does in subject line, address fields and even multi-line edit boxes in the browser.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type Text in mail editor.
2. Pres Ctrl-Backspace
Actual Results:
Nothing

Expected Results:
Delete previous word.
Have you tried in safe mode?
Whiteboard: DUPEME
Version: unspecified → Trunk
Yes, it occurs in a fresh profile and in safe mode as well.
Not working on SeaMonkey trunk (20081202 SeaMonkey/2.0a2; 20090116 SeaMonkey/2.0a3pre) and Thunderbird trunk (20090118 Shredder/3.0b2pre; 20081109 Shredder/3.0b1pre).
