473301 - bookmarks toolbar flickers every 3 seconds if too many folders/locations listed.

I have some 15 or so different entries on my bookmarks toolbar - mostly folders with different RSS feeds in them (for instance, I have one 'Security' that has 20 or so computer security related RSS in it). As a result, I end up with 10 or 11 folders visibly listed, and the remaining 4-5 are available in the pulldown menu hanging off the '>>' widget at the right-hand end of the screen. There's a bit of horizontal whitespace between the rightmost displayed entry and the '>>' widget. One of the folders hanging off the pulldown is the 'Places' folder, as I don't actually *use* it that often.

Under some conditions (possibly related to refreshing the various RSS feeds?), every 3 seconds or so the toolbar will flicker, try to display the 'Places' folder (which doesn't actually *fit* in that white space), and then immediately clear it off again.

The most annoying thing about it is that if you have a pulldown from one of the folders open, it gets knocked shut when the flicker happens (annoying if you've just pulled a pulldown open, gone down 10 or 15 entries, had the RSS open up as a sub-menu, move the mouse cursor right into the submenu, and then have it all evaporate mysteriously while you're moving the mouse up 10 or 15 entries to get to the most recent one...) 

This is a regression sometime between the 20081228 build and 20090110.

This is probably Bug 473058 comment 3, so possibly this will be fixed in Bug 473058.

Looked at that bug report, and yes, this is almost certainly a dup. Am closing as such.
