- Go to any website.
- Scroll a few lines / pages using any method (scrollbar / pg up-down keys
/spacebar).
- click on a link to go to another page
- press BACK button to get back
- mozilla doesn't 'remember' your position in the previous page. IT takes you
to the very beginning of the page.
This is a real annoying buy when following threads say in <a href=http:
//slashdot.org> http://slashdot.org</a> . You follow a link and come back, your
position is screwed!
I did a search on this, and couldn't a bugID. So filing it.
Looks like a recent regression. This was working, but appears to have broken
some time prior to 2000073009. Maybe something to do with caching ?
Suggest reopening bug 16806.

I suggest either reopening 16806 and making this a dupe, or adding regression
keyword and changing severity to major since 16806 had 12 votes, and was marked
mostfreq.
