It's got only a measly 2Gb or RAM, and that isn't enough to run 2 build VMs, let alone the target of 4. I'd go for either a 8G upgrade, or 16G 8G would be sufficient, 16G would me more than needed, but nice 8G is around 300$ and would bring us up to 10G total 16G is around 330$ and we'd have to toss the existing 2 1G stick in there. I'd go for the 8G upgrade, putting us up at 10G, so 2G per build VM, with 2G to spare for the host OS.
are your numbers right about 16G being only $30 more? If so I'd say go for 16G.
go for 16.
Yes, that's because 16G is 8 x 2G, and 8G is 2x4G. In that case, since you have the magical plastic card, can you just order that and ship it to mrz @ MoCo in Mountain View ?

adding mrz
Note: when it's time to install this RAM, it's going to be a perfect time to perform a Software Update, there is at least one EFI upgrade that's waiting in the queue and required a reboot and console access.

Moving around so it's on the right RADAR.

I don't see this package anywhere.
I'm hoping it was mrz's name, but if not him, then my name because of the CC info.
You shipped it to the wrong location. We've been trying to track this down in San Jose but I just noticed from the tracking info that it went to Mountain View. Will need to look around here for it.
Ping? Any luck locating this package?
Found it - was tucked away with some Cisco hardware. For future reference, ship to San Jose, right to the data center.
Wicked, now it's only a matter of planning downtime for the next colo visit. Not a problem. Phong, just let me know when.
FYI, I am going to be offline between 2:00-3:00 PDT, unfortunately. I've shutdown system services, and the machine is ready to be software updated, shutdown, memory installed, restarted. As long as it's back on the network once rebooted, I should be able to take it from there. Password for the Administrator account has been reset to: password for the time being. You can ring me up directly if there are any problems, just call my cellphone. (Folks in #maildev/#vancouver can tell you what it is)
Installed & Upgraded perfectly.
