User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008121621 Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Firefox/3.0.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008121621 Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Firefox/3.0.5 Autoscroll icon in Linux (here: Ubuntu) in Firefox 3 is not transparent and ugly (it's jerky as opposed to the rest smooth GUI of GNOME environment). In Firefox 2 or Thunderbird 2 (even in Linux!) this icon was smooth and one was able to read the text below it. Now it's impossible (with Fx3). I attach screenshots of nice Thunderbird 2 icon and ugly Firefox 3 one. This bug has existed since Firefox 3 was released. The problem does not exist in Windows version of Firefox 3. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable autoscrolling option in Firefox menu (Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced -> General -> Use autoscrolling) 2. Open a www site and middle-click on some text Actual Results: You'll see ugly, not transparent icon that does not fit to nice GNOME environment smooth interface. Expected Results: Autoscroll icon should behave in *EXACTLY* the same way as it was in Firefox 2 - that is, it should be transparent and smooth, as it is in Windows version of Firefox.
