It would be nice if the progress bar would not only indicate the amounth of video buffered, but the parts of the video which are buffered.
For example it could indicate, that minutes 10 to 20 are buffered while the minutes 0 to 10 and the mintues 20 to 30 are not. This can happen if the user jumps to minute 10 and watches until the mintues to 20 are buffered.
This could also be the case if the user is at mintue 15, but the player choosed to free the memory which has been used to store minute 0 to 10.

This would require bug 462957 to be fixed first. At the moment what is buffered in the Ogg backend is the point from the current playback position through to what the last progress event indicated. We discard data as it is read.
