discovered with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20090128 Shiretoko/3.1b3pre but back checked to find it also on 3.0.6 STR: 1) Open the library 2) select and item or folder 3) Organize > Move. 4) In the resulting dialog don't select anything, just click OK tested results: get an Asseretion Failed message of the following: ASSERT: selectedNode must be set in a single-selection tree with initial selection set Stack Trace: 0:MBD_onOK([object Event]) 1:anonymous([object Event]) 2:_fireButtonEvent(accept) 3:_doButtonCommand(accept) 4:_handleButtonCommand([object XULCommandEvent]) expected results: I'm not sure; should nothing happen? Perhaps a helpful hint to select a "move to" location?
This same assert is also in the latest M-C build: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090128 Minefield/3.2a1pre Firefox/3.0.4 ID:20090128034731
ideally, the OK button should be disabled unless the tree has a selection...

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
