As reported in IRC, the soft keyboard is not displaying on a N800 when trying to enter a search term on www.google.com. The keyboard does display when entering a URL. I ran this on my N810 using a private build from this morning and it showed the same symptoms. Adding a test case to litmus to test for this.
this looks like the same problem as bug 455891. Can you try attachment 359045 [details] [diff] [review] and see if it resolves it?
