Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to www.gmail.com and log in 2.attempt to write an email 3.try to delete and entire word using ctrl+backspace Actual Results: nothing happens Expected Results: deleted the entire word
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20090123 Shiretoko/3.1b3pre This works fine for me. Please retest in safe-mode or with a new profile: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#Make_a_new_profile
Version: unspecified → 3.1 Branch
I tried this both in safe-mode and with a new profile, and the bug was reproducible. Ctrl + left or right arrow works as expected - it moves the cursor right or left by one word. Also, if you place your cursor to the right of a space between words and press ctrl+backspace, it deletes the space but not the entire word to the left as expected. Otherwise, ctrl + backspace does not work in either safe-mode or with a new profile.
Still not reproducible. Maybe it is only in your build but not in mine. Please try a branch build with the latest fixes: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-1.9.1/
No repro with 3.2a1pre. Thanks!
