when writing anything in the gmail webstie ctrl+backspace doesnt delete the entire word.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to www.gmail.com and log in
2.attempt to write an email
3.try to delete and entire word using ctrl+backspace
Actual Results:
nothing happens
Expected Results:
deleted the entire word

This works fine for me. Please retest in safe-mode or with a new profile:

I tried this both in safe-mode and with a new profile, and the bug was reproducible. Ctrl + left or right arrow works as expected - it moves the cursor right or left by one word.
Also, if you place your cursor to the right of a space between words and press ctrl+backspace, it deletes the space but not the entire word to the left as expected.
Otherwise, ctrl + backspace does not work in either safe-mode or with a new profile.

Still not reproducible. Maybe it is only in your build but not in mine. Please try a branch build with the latest fixes:
