User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011913 Firefox/3.0.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.18pre) Gecko/20080917 Sunbird/0.9 When I'm not connected to the network and through it to the Internet, my task list appears empty. The tasks don't get deleted though - they're available in the calendar view if the "show tasks in calendar view" option is enabled; they're also available if I export to an ics file and open it in Windows Calendar. Nonetheless, the tasks can't be opened or modified in any way, nor do they appear in the task list view. I can, however, add new tasks. I just can't see the ones I already added. The tasks don't disappear when I lose a connection, only when I start Sunbird while the network's disconnected. When I reconnect (either wireless or LAN), the tasks appear again, but only after I restart Sunbird. It appears to depend on whether there's a connection when Sunbird's started. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a task or more than one. 2.Disconnect from the internet/network (optional: close sunbird before this step) 3.restart sunbird Voila! Now you see it...now you don't. Now to make it reappear: 1. reconnect to the network (optional: close sunbird before this step) 2. restart sunbird It's back! Actual Results: What I expected - now you see it, now you don't, now you do again, as described. Expected Results: Preferably, the tasks list should show the tasks even when I'm not connected.
Seems like everything is behaving correctly. Sunbird has no offline mode yet. To view and edit your online calendars you need to be online. You can enable the experimental cache feature from the calendar properties dialog to view your calendar while being offline. But editing is not possible in that mode either.
Works as intended. -> INVALID We have bugs on file, which talk about a full offline
