Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20090211 Shiretoko/3.1b3pre Re-produce steps: 1. Access ftp://ftp.gnu.org 2. Drag "README" file from Firefox to Gnome Desktop ( I use ubunut 8.10) Actual Result: A warning dialog pop up (seen the attachement)
this may be duped, related, or depend on: Bug 377621
In windows a shortcut is created. Is the expected action to download the ftp file to the desktop or will that be WONTFIX due to security concerns?
