Details

After going through the extra effort to download and install the WinCE-ARM build of Fennec 0.11, I find out it doesn't open. Clicking on the Fennec program makes the phone wait a little while, but then nothing happens. I get no feedback at all. Did it simply crash upon startup? I don't know. Samsung SGH-i617 (BlackJack II) Windows Mobile 6 Standard CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2) Processor: ARM926EJ OMAP1710 CE ROM Versions: 5.2.1620.18125 110 MB Total Memory 155 MB Total Storage From Wikipedia: Screen 320 x 240 pixels, 65K color TFT-LCD CPU 260 MHz Texas Instruments OMAP 2420 Memory 128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM
The binary posted for our milestone release was built for the ARMv6 processor of the HTC Touch Pro and will not run on the ARMv5 processor of the Samsung SGH-i617. We will be targeting a wider rang of devices in future releases.
