Hey there:  When you go to create a new group there is an option for categories -- but it is empty with no menu.

I dug around and not sure where to either turn off categories or add some.

Hey there - Need to get this fixed for relaunch. Marking this as a blocker even know it seems trivial.  It's one of those things that is glaringly missing on when you go to create a group and we anticipate people creating groups.  Can we just turn it off?

This problem is not present on stage as were not currently using the taxonomy_role module to allow an administrator to attach  taxonomy terms against particular nodes

I'll keep an eye out for this problem appearing. If were not using taxonomy_role there is no problem coming and we should take this module out of SVN and off the stage server

Problem still happens on production; Mary, are we going to be using this functionality going forward?  If we want parity with the old site coupled with new functionality, we should re-open this and take it.

We really don't need this now. If we use it we need to dream up a taxonomy for a set of categories for various groups.  I say we turn it off for now and re-evaluate for Drupal 6 migration.
