Based on bug 479413 comment 9, I think we should test that every character is either (1) in the IDN blacklist or (2) visible for each of "Serif", "Sans-serif", and "Monospace". It should be easy to do this in a reftest-like manner. This doesn't need to run on every checkin. In fact, it's more important to run it on every Windows version and Linux distro than it is to run it for every Firefox checkin.
