Part of the purge of <https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Using+Firefox>. This would explain how to print a web page, as well as explain the different options in the print page window.
Here is the rough draft of this. More to come...

Things I thought about:
* There's a different Print... dialog for each OS, yes? I'll need somebody else to provide the descriptions and screenshots for Mac and Linux, since I don't have a box with either in my apartment.
* Is there a way to change the units for the margin settings? I could have sworn I'd used inches before, but all my FF3 profiles use millimeters. I can see people asking about that.

This is mostly ready now, for Windows anyway. Still need confirmation that other platforms' print dialogs are different, and contributions for them.

I didn't mention the "Print to file" thing, because it's the worst UI ever. It pops up and asks you to save the output file name. If you don't provide a path, it hides it in your profile folder. I'll file a bug for an "Asked for output file name when printing," as I've answered that question in the forum before.

- I don't think you need to name the sections. It's a pretty compact window, and bulleting each setting should not make it easier to read.

- The image for printing frames is awesome!

- "print job" term is going to confuse people

- Let's have a screenshot of the entire print window, rather than a screenshot of one section, and no screenshot of any others.
Comments addressed:
* Glad you like the frame printing guide.
* Axed "print job" and simplified some other language
* Fixed the screenshot.

I think I disagree on the sections for the print window. It's compact, but packs in a lot of things. I played with it, but wound up repeating myself a lot in describing the buttons and boxes. I think that the sections are separated and labeled in the window lends itself to sectioning them in the article.

One thing we could do is make a fast path. The part for "How to print a page" becomes "1) Click File > Print, 2) Make sure the printer is the right one, 3) If you want to change print settings, see below. Otherwise click OK." (Obviously I would clean that up a bit). Then below, we describe the settings in detail. Thoughts?

That aside, Windows and Mac are mostly done (the Mac screenshot is 100% fake, so please verify that it's got the right stuff). I'll grab some Linux screenshots shortly.
I've added Linux screenshots and instructions now, so the information is now up for all three platforms.

I went through and made sure I didn't use the word "page" loosely. The convention I followed is that we're using Firefox to print a "web page" onto a "sheet" of paper, which may contain one or more "pages." I'd appreciate a copy edit throughout, though.

I think we'll be done here once we decide whether/how to break up or simplify the print window instructions.

If I understand correctly, it's just a matter of making sure step 3 (click ok to print) appears before the settings spec. If so, that sounds good to me.

I think as soon as the page layout is done, we can cross-platformize the doc.
OK, done with layout, I think. Much cleaner now, at least in the steps to print sections.
Marking this as fixed so it can be reviewed. Meant to do this before 3.5, whoops.
