Steps to reproduce:
1.Go to https://spreadfirefox.authstage.mozilla.com/news_events.
2.Click on "Internet CEE, Warsaw in Poland" event listed under "Upcoming Events".
3.Notice that this event links to the URL "https://spreadfirefox.authstage.mozilla.com/news_events#".So the "News and Events" page gets refreshed.

expected result:
On clicking on any event,the user navigates to the
a)event details page if logged in
b)log in page if not logged in

actual result:
"News and Events" page gets refreshed on clicking on the event "Internet CEE, Warsaw in Poland""
