no way to stop a script that has a lot of alert boxes one after the other . consider :
--- start sample html ---
<script>
for(i=1; i < 30; i++)alert("annoying page alert " + i + " of 30");
</script>
anooying huh ? another go? Refresh me or use in opera - have an option
--- end html ---
running this in opera is ok (have a look at http://picasaweb.google.com/Tushar.Kapila/F1#5310120878045178258)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to web page http://tushar.kapila.googlepages.com/annoyingPage.html
2.see 10 alerts (i reduced from 30 to 10)
3. irratating not nice UI as no way to stop it
Actual Results:
need to go thru all the alerts or kill the firefox process from the task mamanger
Expected Results:
nice to have a easier and cleaner way to stop the page and continue using other tabs.
Also IMPORTANT: if i close the tab and reopen the page then it should be normal - run scripts until i check the box that stops scripts. this is so if its a programming error we can debug/ change. should not stop scripts for that page forever/ complete browser session.
opera has it
