User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.7) Gecko/2009021910 Firefox/3.0.7 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.7) Gecko/2009021910 Firefox/3.0.7 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Comodo Internet Security / Comodo Defense + alert pops up and wants to terminate firefox.exe for trying to execute shellcode as a possible result of buffer overflow attack and isolates firefox.exe from the rest of the system Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Running Commodo Internet Security and Comodo SafeSurf V 1.0.0.6 2.download Adobe reader 9.0 using firefox extension Adobe DLM powered gy GetPlus. 3.During download Comodo Defense + alert pops up and says firefox is trying to execute shellcode and that firefox.exe has been isolated from the rest of the system, and to contact program vendor for a fix. Actual Results: Defense + alert gives option to skip firefox.exe or terminate it. Skipping firefox.exe closes the program. Terminating does same. Restarting firefox.exe gives choice to either restore previous session or start new one. Restore session results in same Comodo Defense + alert. New session loads firefox.exe and browser runs as usual. Expected Results: expected Adobe Reader to Download forinstall Not sure if there is an actual overflow buffer attack or not so to error on the safe side I went with Comodo internet / SafeSurf's defense + and submitted this bug.
