Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3) Gecko/20090305 Firefox/3.1b3
This only happens in 3.1B, still in 3.1B3. Often I get an error "Address Not Found -- Firefox can't find the server at <hendrix.mozilla.org> and have to try again 2 or 3 times before the page loads. Also, some pages which load additinal information (such http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=^GSPC)frequently load in text mode rather than HTML mode. This never happens using FF3.0 on the same system & wifi network.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Can't find any pattern
2.
3.

See bug 503262.
May be related to changes in how FF handles DNS - specifically, it's now doing "prefetching" which overwhelms many older routers.
Please try the WORKAROUND steps in comment #31 and comment here whether that fixes your problem or not.

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode or a fresh profile? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

I've switched to Chrome since I continue to be unable to load my.yahoo.com due to another problem (page comes up completely blank). I can't say whether this bug has been fixed or not.

If you happen to use Firefox again and still see this, feel free to reopen.
