The news bookmark which comes default in Turkish Firefox is out of date. The last news is from 7th April 2008. This site's web adress is radikal.com.tr and the feed is http://fxfeeds.mozilla.com/tr/firefox/headlines.xml

I suggest you to move to some other feed which shows up to date and good quality news; such as in http://www.ntvmsnbc.com/

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Download Turkish Firefox
2.You have to be sure that you have a clean installation (remove profile folders)
3.Run the Turkish Firefox
4.Click "Haberler" (News)
Actual Results:  
Shows old news.

Expected Results:  
It has to show up to date news.

It looks like the website changed at some point in the past and the feed that we were redirecting to with http://fxfeeds.mozilla.com/tr/firefox/headlines.xml is no longer supported.

There are a lot of new feeds to choose from on http://www.radikal.com.tr/Radikal.aspx?aType=Radikal, however none of them seemed to be working when I checked.

Erkan, Serkan, what's your take on this? Should we try to update the feed to a new one from radikal.com.tr (provided it works), or maybe should we look for another news provider?

However, we consider changing default news feed to that of NTVMSNBC. We haven't made final decision, but NTVMSNBC feed looks to be better than Radikal feed at the moment. (Not limited to domestic news, updated more frequently, more neutral, etc.)

I'll keep you updated in 1-2 days.

Even though we'd advice Mozilla to change default feed to http://www.ntvmsnbc.com/id/3032091/device/rss/rss.xml we've not been able to contact anyone from the site to get permission and tell them that Mozilla will use their feed. If it's okay, we'd still advice http://www.ntvmsnbc.com/id/3032091/device/rss/rss.xml otherwise outdated feed may be changed with http://www.radikal.com.tr/d/rss/Rss.aspx?catID=77.
