Unlike Windows operating systems, Linux applications are not easily browsed through a "Program Files" directory. Most Linux users use the "which" command to find the application paths, but the Firefox "Choose an Application" window does not use this common utility. Request smarter solution for this common Firefox process. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Download file with unknown file extension. 2.Right click on downloaded file, in the Download window. 3.Choose Open in menu. 4.In Launch Application window, click the Choose... button. 5.In the Another Application... window, notice how difficult it is to find applications, such as /opt/kde3/bin/kaffeine, /usr/bin/uncompress, etc., etc. Be smarter about finding applications in the file directories. Consider what similar applications do, such as Gnome-Do
