User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.21) Gecko/20090303 SeaMonkey/1.1.15 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.21) Gecko/20090303 SeaMonkey/1.1.15 When trying to write an e-mail, there is my signature which is automatically in the e-mail text body box. I can't delete or alter that text. I can't add to it either. The text is treated as if it's part of the web page. Other fields work just fine. Tried in 2.0 also, but the problem is a little different. Reproducible: Always
What is the problem with SeaMonkey v2.0a3 ? Can you reproduce with Firefox v2.0.0.20 / v3.5b3 ?
Version: unspecified → Trunk
In SeaMonkey 2.0, the signature doesn't show up at all in my typing box, and I'll type a message, but when it's sent, the receiver gets only my signature and nothing that I wrote. Firefox 3 freezes the whole computer and forces a restart, and everything in Firefox 2 works great (except for full-screen flash videos, but I heard that's a whole other problem entirely). I hope that's the information you wanted.
I have a similar problem in 3.5b4. I cannot see any text of the email when I reply/forward. Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1b4pre) Gecko/20090410 Shiretoko/3.5b4pre
Reporter, can you try and reproduce with SeaMonkey v2.0b2 or 2.0pre ? (This aren't stable enough for everyone's daily use yet). Duplicate Bug 496299 ??
I'm sorry, but I've stopped using SeaMonkey because I figured out why Firefox wasn't working. I can install one of those other versions and try it out if it will be a huge help to someone.
