Stephen - Alex this error is because of the updated module Alex installed 
the errors are images that are not in the image gallery directory

I looking now to see how many images on the resources page

resolved it was from my post on the new launch on sfx2 I deleted my own post and fixed the error

Jamey, is this something that is going to happen again when we push to production?  What was the root cause of the problem?  Thanks

the module you updated gallery upload or image a few days not 100% of the name of that module I would need to do some digging

deleted all the images in the image directory



to reproduce error
login go to your create content then then upload a image don't select a category

I'm going to reopen this because I'm not sure yet that the solution will transfer to production (i.e. we can't resolve this on production by deleting all image ;)

I'll try reproducing this

Buchanan investigating this and if we can't figure this out he'll turn off file attachments for projects now!

it's going to overwrite image gallery directory is how the error began 
from a image upload on the gallery page I made of the double post when we launched the sfx 2 site

I would recommend we keep it on maybe turn it off for normal default members but keep it running for vanguards


we don't promote the image gallery on sfx and have not from the launch of sfx2

I could be wrong but I think I am the only one who uses it ?

when we launch the new sfx3 site if the module overwites all the image or deletes the directory pages like http://www.spreadfirefox.com/MozillaBios will have the same errors

I saved the images today if they do get deleted ;(

errors seems to be from the permissions, making a new directory or path

stage is not making a thumbnail this could be part of the reason of the error
im sure it has multiple errors just trying to help

we downgraded the image module to version 5.x-1.9 (a more stable release) in bug 487699.  It did not fix this bug.

Fix:

delete from variable where name like '%image_sizes%';
truncate cache;
