If I Backup the Bookmarks (Manage Bookmarks -> Menue: Import and Backup -> Backup), they stay. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Add a Bookmark (Manage Bookmarks or Take&Drope) 2.close Firefox 3.Start Firefox Actual Results: The Bookmark I added is missing. Expected Results: Keep the Bookmark(s) I added. Workaround: After adding the Bookmarks I can Backup them (Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> Import and Backup -> Backup). When I now close and start Firerfox, the Bookmarks are there.
Looks like your Firefox is set to automatically import an old bookmarks file on startup.
i suspect you're a victim of bug 462366 try opening about:config and set importBookmarksHTML to false.
Ups.. "about:config and set importBookmarksHTML to false" worked. Sorry, my foult... Greetings Miro
