When opening a drop down list and closing it again the list doesnt close
properly instead leaves a shadow of the list.
Also, the overall performance is very slow, id guess its run on a Java VM but my
understanding is it isn't. The pages load very slow, the responses to user
clicks is measured in seconds and feels very slow. In fact even slower than
netscape 4 but with alot less bugs of course.

I know this one by heart now: Bug 39992. If there is a separate speed problem
with select boxes, we need a specific example. It seems quite fast enough on
Linux 2000-08-11-08.
