User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.8) Gecko/2009032608 Firefox/3.0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.8) Gecko/2009032608 Firefox/3.0.8 Wheb trying to preview/debug a html page with Firefox in Dreamweaver, the first time I try, I may be able to open the page but after that a message appears: Firefox failled to find "index.html preceeded by the complete address. If in Firefox I go to the same address it opens fine. Yesterday I had the same problem with the following website <http://www.chantal-jumel-kolam-kalam.com/pages/pagehommages/hommages.html>. Some pages opened then others didn't, no apparent reason. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.restart Firefox 2.from Dreamweaver try Preview/debug in Firefox 3.The first time the page may appear but later it doesn't. Actual Results: After one try at the most, the following message appears: "File Not Found Firefox can't find the file at /Macintosh HD/Users/soandso/Sites/billy2/index.html." which is the right address Expected Results: Firefox should have opened the page as expected When the problem appeared first the page didn't appear even the first time. Now it happens erratically the first time but later attempts do not succeed. No problem with other browsers.
Bug also occurred in Firefox 3.0, but appeared to have been fixed. It is now back in 3.5. Old work-around, before 3.0 bug was fixed was to completely quit out of Firefox before each attempt to preview a page from Dreamweaver. That work-around does not appear to work in Firefox 3.5. Now, when you quit Firefox 3.5 and attempt to preview a page from Dreamweaver, Firefox launches, but just shows the browser default home page.
I have a similar problem. Will see in Dreamweaver a file in Browserpreview. Safri, will do, Opera also but not FF 3.5 Nothing happens, neither this Error-Warning. The protocol from Dreamweaver gifes an issue, like I would uploade the file "Gestartet: 05.07.09 19:10 Uhr termine:index.php - identisch - nicht übertragen … … … Dateivorgang abgeschlossen. Dateien übersprungen: 26 Beendet: 05.07.09 19:10 Uhr" This bug is reproducible on myMacBookPro and also on the iMac 24". thanks
