After a while (30 secs to 1 minute) an error dialog opens with a "Unresponsive Script" message detailed below. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.File > Import 2. Safari 3. Select only "Browsing History" Actual Results: Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/components/nsPlacesDBFlush.js:195 It gives the option of Continue or Stop Script. Both options go to an infinite loop, bringing that window again and again. Expected Results: Import Safari history succesfully.

Provisionally moving to Toolkit. Is this problem reproducible (does it happen every time you try the steps-to-reproduce from comment #0)?
Component: Migration → Places
Product: Firefox → Toolkit
QA Contact: migration → places
Also, does the problem happen in Firefox 3.5 beta4, or a current Shiretoko nightly?
Version: unspecified → 1.9.1 Branch
Pablo: How many bookmarks and how much (in days) of history are you importing from Safari?
I am not able to reproduce this using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1b4) Gecko/20090423 Firefox/3.5b4, but I do not have a vast amount of info to import from Safari.
