This is a spin-off from bug 487596. We currently can't ship the Hebrew builds with the spell-checker due to incompatible licenses problem. But we could feature a link to the spell-checker add-on on AMO on Hebrew web parts. There are two candidates: * the Getting Started page (central) * the First Run page AFAIK, we already did this a couple of times on the Central page (e.g. http://cy.www.mozilla.com/cy/firefox/central/#feature-work), so it would be my recommendation to add it there, in the Work category. Pascal?

I support this, as this is at least a partial solution. This is relevant not just for Hebrew. Something like this should be standard procedure for any localized installer that doesn't come with a built-in dictionary.

ok for me, but I won't have cycles to work on that before next week.

Any change since April?

I'm going to close this one as WONTFIX given how much time has passed. mozilla.org has completely changed, we only have a firstrun page that is not always enabled on production, so this approach is not feasible.
