User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_4_11; en) AppleWebKit/525.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.2 Safari/525.22 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.0.9) Gecko/2009040820 Firefox/3.0.9 Flash Actionscript mouse over events are ignored in flash fullscreen mode. The problem started with version 3.0. It is not a problem in 2.x. It seems to be Mac only. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Navigate to any Flash site which includes a Fullscreen button 2.Rollover effects work in normal screen 3.enter fullscreen they no longer work Safari had the same problem in version 2x and Apple fixed it in version 3 Example sites: http://www.claracollins.com/ (fullscreen button is in the lower right corner)
Does the problem also happen with Firefox 3.5 beta4 (ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.5b4), and/or with recent Shiretoko or Minefield nightlies (ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly)?
Yes it does. At this site when you rollover a menu item a submenu pops up. If you click FULLSCREEN they no longer popup on rollover—you have to click. http://www.meganjones.com/beta/
I can confirm this also. It's happened since v 3.0 for me and still exists in 3.5 and also in 3.6a1pre. I'm using OS X 10.4.11 and it's happened for all Flash Player versions that have full screen (9+) You can see it here: http://www.nzsnowboard.com/videos I've also seen in on a bunch of other sites including youtube and dailymotion. The same sites in full screen work fine in Safari and Opera. I should probably also point out that this same issue exists in Camino so it seems to me that it's probably something with Gecko causing it?
Yes, duping against. Thanks.
