Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.9) Gecko/2009040821 Firefox/3.0.9 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.9) Gecko/2009040821 Firefox/3.0.9 I recently installed Vista x64 and during the process of getting everything set up, I installed Firefox as usual. Everything seemed fine during the installation, nothing unusual, and after setting up my customised interface (just a bit of dragging and dropping, no addons or extensions) the "Bookmarks" menu at the top of the screen, usually used for browsing bookmarks, now automatically bookmarks the page I'm on if it's the first time I've clicked the "Bookmarks" drop down menu link in that current Firefox window's session. The bug is repeatable by closing Firefox, re-opening it and clicking "Bookmarks" again, however repeated clicking of the menu after the first yields no problems. A workaround is to click and hold the Bookmarks menu button down until the menu appears, however this is a little tedious after a while. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Close Firefox 2. Open Firefox 3. Click "Bookmarks" Actual Results: The "Page Bookmarked" (or, if the page is already bookmarked, "Edit this Bookmark" Star window appears in the top right of my screen and the bookmark is added to the bottom of my bookmarks list. Expected Results: Just simply open the bookmarks list without bookmarking the current page May have something to do with setting up a customised interface, though unsure. No addons or extensions were used, this was from a fresh install of Windows Vista x64, fully updated via Windows Update as of 04/22/2009.
