User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.9) Gecko/2009040821 Firefox/3.0.9 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.9) Gecko/2009040821 Firefox/3.0.9 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Example: Vista Aero v2.0.0.62 is an IE7 theme. However the writer has changed the theme and it is now an IE8 theme, v3.0.0.29. I want to stop Firefox from updating this theme. In the Add-Ons there could be a tick button to stop a specific Add-on from updating automatically, while leaving all other Add-ons alone to be updated regularly. Currently, I can only click "Skip" each time Firefox finds new addons and presents them to me in the Add-on Update Dialog box.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install FF, install, Vista Aero 2.0.0.62.
2.Reboot (or restart Firefox possibly)
3.Start FF again, go to Tools-Update-Add-ons, and click find updates.
4.The Addon manager presents Vista Aero 3.0.0.29, which is and IE8
Actual Results:
The update was presented.
Expected Results:
There is no setting for each individual add-on to be removed from autoupdating.
This may be a security issue as to the reason why there is no ability to select individual add-ons to never be updated (from within the Add-on Manager), and leave all other add-on to be update able.
