Description

Find linked to this bug the Firefox 3.5 "firstrun" page to be localized in all languages we ship for the release.

The file to translate is linked in the URL field of this bug (for new localizers not familiar with Bugzilla yet, this field is up in the page below the 'QA contact' field)


Localizers with SVN access can directly commit their translation to their repository and indicate in the bug comments the revision number of their commit.

If you do not have SVN access and want one, please contact me by email (pascal_AT_mozilla.com) and I will open a bug for you.

You can of course also just attach your translation to this bug, in that case don't forget to save it as UTF8 and attach it as "plain text (text/plain)".

If there is no version of support.mozilla.org for your locale but an existing community site offering support, yes you can. Use this text instead:

Choose what you think is best for the end-user, if the Italian community portal is currently offering a better support to your users than support.mozilla.org, then link to the local community site. If the situation changes in the future and support.mozilla.org becomes a better alternative for your language, then we can change the link in a future 3.5.x release.

So, the new strings in main.lang are for the dailymotion text, right?

I'm asking this to see whether that part would be translatable, so that we can decide on the directionality of that box in the RTL theme...
