Hey guys. Please QA the phase 2 version of the Fastest Firefox landing page. This is the version that will launch about a week after the 3.5 launch...the goal is to display the community compilation video that will be the result of the video submissions generated from phase 1.
A couple of caveats:
1. the three videos across the bottom are all copies of the same content for now
2. the main video is just a place-holder
More details at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox3.5/WebsitePlan/FastestFirefox.
Thanks!

[1] I don't have Flash installed in IE 6, and although I get the player controls, I'm (understandably) unable to play the video, but I get no error or "need to install Flash" message.
Page validates

[2] No-Flash-installed message claims, "video download links to the right"; we don't have download links for this page (at least not yet).

Removed this line in r25333.

Stephen - I'm not seeing this. What version of Flash is it?

In the VM image I have, Flash isn't installed -- at least, going to www.adobe.com/software/flash/about doesn't recognize it.
http://screencast.com/t/S3pK4CyVujR is a screencast

Stephen, I'm wondering if there might be an older version of Flash installed. The play/progress-bar that is showing up there is only available from the flash plugin, so I'm thinking there must be some flash version there.
If you go to Tools -> Manage Add Ons... does it show a Shockwave/Flash object? Thanks

Did you watch the screencast? The issue I have with the controls showing up but no Flash content playing seems limited to IE, as I mentioned in comment 1.

Stephen, yeah, I see how the controls are showing up - but that's what I'm confused about. Those controls are in a Flash file, so for them to show up at all, there must be some version of Flash installed, I think?

Steven: ah, ok; probably just some weird IE thing (ships with some older version that Adobe.com no longer recognizes, or something?)
Anyway, I wouldn't block on that -- the few people still actively using IE 6 on Mozilla.com will probably have whatever the latest Flash version is for that platform anyway.

Does this mean we're finished here? Can I boldly resolve it?

John: this looks good to go.
Steven: I figured out that XP has Flash 6 installed by default, so that's why the controls show up but yet the videos don't play (it's fine, of course in 8/9/10); I don't think people will still be using Flash 6, nor do I think we should block on that -- maybe we can revisit this later?
One final fix: s/Sunspider/SunSpider in the sidebar.
(Tested with IE 6/7/8 with Flash 10, Opera 9.64, Safari 3.2.2, Firefox 2.0.0.20, Firefox 3.0.10, Firefox 3.5 beta 4, nightlies, Google Chrome 1.0.154.65.)

Great, thanks Stephen!
Steven G, can you make that final fix to the the SunSpider text? Once that's complete I'll resolve this one.

Will need to add the final video later, but that can be in a new bug. Resolving!
