Yahoo Mail while composing new email is lost when replying to Yahoo Web Mail.  This can happen at any time, but mostly noticed when email is long.  If I have stepped away from the computer I save as "DRAFT" in Yahoo Mail, then when returning, open DRAFT and begin typing again, after awhile I may lose all text resulting in a blank email body page.  Text disappears and lost all text, except if I have saved a DRAFT, it will recover what is in the draft.  But, not always possible either because sometimes there is no DRAFT, which disappears most of the time when I click on the draft to reopen the Yahoo Mail I was composing.  This is very aggravating and pretty much makes composing Yahoo Mail unreliable and fruitless to try to use for composing emails.  I don't know how many times I have lost my email text while composing either new mail or a reply, but it has been way too many times.  Reoccurring problem.  I do not know if this is a Yahoo issue or a Firefox issue, but I can say I never had this problem when I was using IE to open my Yahoo Mail in previous years before preferring to use Firefox as my default browser.  I would like to work with you on arriving at a solution, and willing to make any testing you wish of me, but something needs to be done as soon as possible.  This is not acceptable for reliable yahoo web mail composition.  I feel I can be an asset to your group if you would just guide me in arriving at tests that would find this issue.  I am presently taking Information Technology Computer Networking Systems to become a Network Administrator, so I feel I have enough experience if given a procedure of steps to follow, I can contribute to finding information for you that may be helpful.  Work with me, and I will gladly work with you.  This issue has caused me a lot of grief and lost production time in school work, and other personal issues.  When writing an email, I need to have it secure so that no matter what happens, I can recover the document I am typing where I left off.  The fact that the DRAFT is not always there and disappears after I reopen the draft, sucks to put it mildly.  The DRAFT should never disappear out of the DRAFT Folder unless I choose to DELETE IT.  This email using your browser to open it is not behaving the way it was intended and is getting more frequent with problematic loss of text while composing the Yahoo Web Mail.  You might say wel use another email provider, which I tried doing using Thunderbird and my Road Runner email account.  I know that Thunderbird is an entirely different issue but I think that I should state what is happening there with that, making that also unreliable.  Problem: This Road Runner Account is under my Grandmother's name because she has the Time Warner TV Cable Account into her house where I am living to provide her care-giving in her elderly 91 years of age condition of deteriorating health.  So, she holds the master account of which I have the access password wise and knowledge wise, she has no computer knowledge.  I have set up a sub-account for myself under her master email account.  There was no problems either and I got my personal email fine under my sub-account.  Her master Road Runner Mail Account is: [e-mail] ; my sub-account is: [e-mail].  Recently I have set up a second sub-account specifically to receive any E-Bay Seller replies to questions, notifications, and awarding of the winning bid for items I bid on.  This sub-account is named: [e-mail].  This is when the problems began.  I could receive the E-bay replies under [e-mail] but it kept telling me that no messages were found under my first sub-account I use for personal email from a select few friends I use this account for, and never receive any junk mail into this account by the way.  Your directions are not specific enough to set up this kind of email account using Thunderbird without leaving a lot of questions and having to perform trial and error experiments. which only resulted in my losing all sub accounts set up for the roadrunner email and it also has taken all entries off the Web Based Road Runner Mail Page.  Yet, Road Runner also has POP3 capability in addition.  Yes, I set up the outgoing and incoming addresses into the fields that require it be entered into for each account, but they use the same settings for both of the sub-accounts, including SMTP: [smpt-server.twcny.rr.com] (outgoing) and POP3: [pop-server.twcny.rr.com] (incoming).  Yet now it asks me for the password with a pop up screen for the: [e-mail] account, and when I type that password in, it allows me to click on the inbox for that account and click Get Mail and it gets it just fine, but when I click on the inbox and Get Mail for: [e-mail] it does not ask me for any password, and it says no mail on server, even though I have sent email tests to those accounts.  I am no longer able to get my first sub-account emails for my personal email sub-account.  Road Runner allows up to 5 sub-email accounts.  Road Runner Tech Support will not help me either because I am using Thunderbird and they do not provide any tech support for this program they said.  I recovered both email accounts the other night when I finally found a Knowledge Base Article that specifically stated that all is not lost, it will be in another sequentially numbered folder, which I found and recreated the accounts using these nicely saved folders, presto the accounts are back.  What I can't understand is another account listing that only has a inbox and trash folder in it, and what to do with that account.  Perhaps this was originally named Mozilla News, which I remember it saying before this crash took place, so I may need to find the folder for that and reinstall it, but I do not care to have that account, and it will not allow deletion of it either, as that choice is grayed out for that account that I tried to rename [e-mail] and still no effect.  My original [e-mail] account has more folders in it that I created for personal reasons of managing my personal email with folders such as saved for example of where I place mail I want saved for future access.  I have explained clearly what I have and what I have experienced, thus having no reliable mail anymore using Mozilla Programs like Firefox and Mozilla.  Help me please.  I need problems resolved and help doing so.  I am not stupid, but I am not a Programing Engineer either that reads between the lines.  I follow what is written to the best of my abilities.  Any suggestions that would be helpful to me would be welcomed, but do not assume if you mention a couple of words that the procedural process is known, spell out the steps please and why I am to do them, eg., what it accomplishes, so that some real learning and understanding takes place.  It does not matter what build either, as previous builds resulted in same thing happening.  Thanks community. :-)    

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.just type lengthy yahoo web emails
2.pray it does not occur
3.wait and see if it happens, making me very unhappy when it does.
Actual Results:  
1) Open Firefox
2) use the drop down arrow at the end of the address field, click on Yahoo Mail Login.
3) click on mail, read it, either using REPLY or Compose New Mail options.
4) type lengthy emails saving them as DRAFT occasionally.
5) sometimes the draft disappears when I open it, and if anything happens then, all is lost of typed text.
6) type and type email text, occasionally all text disappears and lost permanently. Very aggravating.

Expected Results:  
Sometimes the mail composition text disappears entirely, sometimes I luck out and nothing happens.  Intermittent problematic issue here.  Never know when it will happen, but it happens all too often.

Perhaps backed up my text continually, so if this happens, I can access a nice backup folder and put it back, and leave the dam DRAFT Folder alone and keep the entry until I decide to delete it, not delete it without my permission.  Definitely not lose my email I am composing, that is for sure. :-(

I am sending a complaint to Yahoo Mail Support also, so that everyone is checking to see whose problem it is and who is going to fix it, or point fingers sessions, LOL.  "Not My Problem" (One thing for sure, it is a problem and a very TOP PRIORITY LEVEL PROBLEM that needs to be fixed)!!!
