On update to 3.0.10 Firefox has stopped displaying remembered passwords in login forms. Previously when going to the login screen, username and password were auto-filled on sites such as Facebook, thinkbroadband.com and many others (after I had selected "Remember these..."). They are still listed in stored passwords, but need to be filled in manually on each login.

This is actually rather more annoying than I thought it would be when it first manifested.

Note 1: Only occurs on webforms. Pop up "Apache" style login boxes still keep the details

NOTE 2: Sites that I auto-login too (allowing storage of their cookies) work fine.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Visit site eg Facebook. Choose to remember user details
2.Quit FF, flushing unwanted cookies.
3.Return to site
Actual Results:  
Remembered user details are not displayed.

Expected Results:  
Form fields should display username and (obfuscated) password

I have seen this reported by several FF users, going back to the introduction of FF3 but it only happened to me since upgrading to 3.0.10.

This has happened to me from FF3 upwards, and not just with Facebook.
Also I do not clear cache/cookies.
This bug seems to randomly occur for all pages that request a username+password after about 30 minutes of use with FF.

Reporter, Firefox 4.0.1 has been released, and it features significant improvements over previous releases. Can you please update to Firefox 4.0.1 or later, and retest your bug? Please also create a fresh profile (
http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles), update your plugins (Flash, Java, Quicktime, Reader, etc) and update your graphics driver and Operating system to the latest versions available.

I've performed all updates as requested, and created a new profile.  I will test for a few days and post my findings.

So far this bug has not occurred again. I think creating a new profile was the action that solved the issue.

Sorry, but the above is no longer correct.  Installed Google Toolbar yesterday, and today the bug started happening again, so I guess that might be the cause.

Clicking/double clicking in username fields no longer shows ANY stored usernames.  Typing in the field does not show the suggestions either.

Closing and restarting Firefox fixes the issue for a while.

Please report to Google, it seems to be their toolbar that is the problem.
