we've received some community feedback, most recently at the link below, about adding a "favorite" feature to the personas gallery. I'm assuming users would need a log-in to make this work, and there are probably multiple ways to let a user indicate a "favorite". I'm filing a bug on this to open the discussion on 1) whether this makes sense, and 2) the right approach.

It makes sense and is pretty common. There needs to be some work on where and how to surface this information. Things like:

-Where to put the 'Add to favorite' or 'Favorite' link/button
-How to unfavorite
-How to view your favorited items
-Where to put # of favorites for a design

should be on production level this week. 

with respect to placement of "favorite" link, Ryan suggests using a star image to the right of the content area like Flickr. That works.

I don't see this persisting; steps to reproduce follow:

1. Log in
2. Load http://sm-weave-proxy01.services.mozilla.com/persona/824
3. Click "Add to Favorites" (http://sm-weave-proxy01.services.mozilla.com/favorite/824/f305ce8bdf69c7a1796ef889e6b4ddfa?action=1)
4. Watch the text change to "Remove from Favorites"
5. Reload the page

Expected Results:

You should see "Remove from Favorites" persist on reload

Actual Results:

You see "Add to Favorites", indicating that the favorite-add didn't take

Additionally, where are the last two items from comment 1 addressed?
