494122 - awesome bar gives many options in autocomplete for a single entry

steps to reproduce:

1) clean profile (rm -fr ~/.mozilla/fennec)
2) launch fennec. I did from the command line like

$ fennec http://google.com

3) after loaded, tap the urlbar (it should gets focused and highlight text content).
4) type 'g' ('g' out of 'g'oogle, the single entry in database so far).

urlbar drops down showing:
1) www.google.com (probably the resolved URL)
2) google.com (what i typed in)
3) Google (page title)

is that OK ?

it sounds related to bug 428690 (not sure)

I thought so too, but they are not fetching from the same mechanism.

bug 434947 is about redirects in the awesomebar

This is ok, we don't hide redirect sources cause in some cases that may cause empty searches when instead we could have returned a result.
