User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042523 Ubuntu/9.04 (jaunty) Firefox/3.0.10 FirePHP/0.2.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042315 Firefox/3.0.10 The download finishes correctly but it still has the .part extension. The same URL without the trailing slash works correctly (if the server in question resolves this to the same file). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Copy/paste/click the URL given above. 2. Save the file (not open). Actual Results: The file downloads (with a random name but that's ok), but it keeps the .part extension. For example, I get files like PetWUP9w.pdf(2).part. Expected Results: Once the download is finished, the .part extension should be removed. I realise it's pretty silly to have links to files that have a trailing slash, but it does happen occasionally. The link given above is generated by a CMS.

I am hitting the same problem. The download is a PDF file sent as a response to a POST at the current page's URL, which ends with a "/".
