"bugzilla" of "https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Firefox&format=guided") the whole link is being dragged along with mouse and the text is not being selected. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open any URL (e. g., given above). 2. Try to select a part of any link. Actual Results: The link is moving along with mouse. Expected Results: The text is being selected.
This is a mass search for bugs which are in the Firefox General component, are UNCO, have not been changed for 500 days and have an unspecified version. Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10 or later, create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles, and test again. If you still see the issue, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the status to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.

It's still reproducible.
I have updated Firefox to 3.6.10, created profile "Test". Under that profile the bug was reproducible.

Reporter, Firefox 4.0.1 has been released, and it features significant improvements over previous releases. Can you please update to Firefox 4.0.1 or later, and retest your bug? Please also create a fresh profile ( http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles), update your plugins (Flash, Java, Quicktime, Reader, etc) and update your graphics driver and Operating system to the latest versions available. Currently I can't update Firefox due to some problems with internet. Can anyone else test this? I'll reopen it if it is still present.
So if you are trying to highlight the text of a hyperlink it moves the hyperlink? But if you start to select outside the hyperlink and then highlight it then it will work? this is expected behavior.
