User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042316 Firefox/3.0.10 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042316 Firefox/3.0.10 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Enable or disable any extension and choose RESTART button, the above site loops continuously trying to display content. The issue can be repeated with 100% success rate. If I restart Firefox manually, the above site opens as expected. Error in the RESTART button in Add-Ons option. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make the following web site the default start page: https://mypima.pima.edu/cp/home/displaylogin 2. Add an add-on (Better YouTube is a good test) and click on the RESTART button in the add-on/extensions/themes window. Approve the restarting of Firefox. 3. On restart, Firefox loops continuously showing "connecting" and flashing progress bar until the STOP button is pressed. Actual Results: Firefox loops continuously showing "connecting" and flashing progress bar until the STOP button is pressed. Expected Results: The above URL should have opened without hesitation, and not continuously looped with "connecting" and progress bar flashing. The above action can be resolved by closing the Add-ons window and simply quitting Firefox and starting again.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.11pre) Gecko/2009051906 GranParadiso/3.0.11pre Alas, I can't reproduce this. Can you retest with a newly created profile? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#Make_a_new_profile
OK - here's how I am able to reproduce this issue again: 1. I tossed out previous, fresh profile (this is a new image being developed for a PC with Windows XP SP2) 2. started Firefox and went through new profile screens, 3. set home page to http://mypima.pima.edu (which resolves to the secure logon page) 4. Chose Tools-->Add-ons, chose Get Add-ons and selected TwitterFox (easy choice from list of extensions) 5. clicked RESTART button Firefox closes/re-opens and continuously loops with connecting/waiting and flashing progress thermometer bar until I press STOP. Go back into Add-ons screen and disable any of the extensions and simply close the Add-ons screen and quite Firefox, re-open and above link/home page opens as expected. I hope that helps. -*-Bill

This bug appears to be fixed - possibly due to Firefox change and/or change to community college's portal system logon page being dramatically changed to be only a logon portal and not showing content/access pages. Thanks for the follow-up! Keep up the good work with making Firefox an awesome browser! -*-Bill
